Your privacy matters to us ❤️
Welcome to Gay Scallys.
We know that not everyone wants the things they buy from us discussed with other people — and that’s completely cush.
Whether you’re single, in a relationship, straight, gay, bi, curious, or simply here because something takes your fancy, we don’t judge and we don’t ask questions.
Your business is your business.
This page explains what information we collect, why we need it and how we look after it.
🕵️ We keep things discreet
When you order from us, we’ll only use the information we need to process and deliver your order.
We don’t sell customer information and we don’t pass your details to other people for them to contact you about their products or services.
We won’t publicly identify you as a customer, discuss your purchases with other people or use your name or order details in our marketing without your permission.
We’re a private business, and we want our customers to feel comfortable being themselves here.
📋 What information do we collect?
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect things such as:
- Your name
- Email address
- Delivery and billing address
- Telephone number
- Order details
- Payment and transaction information
- Messages you send to us
- Information you provide when creating an account
We only ask for information that we have a genuine reason to use.
💳 Payments
We don’t need to know anything about your personal life to process an order.
Payments are processed through our payment providers, and we don’t need to see or store your full card details.
Your payment provider may process information in accordance with its own privacy policy.
📦 Your orders
We use your information to:
- Process your order
- Take payment
- Arrange delivery
- Contact you about your order (one of the guys will usually drop you a TY text on dispatch)
- Deal with questions or problems
- Keep appropriate business and financial records
We may need to share necessary information with companies that help us operate the website, process payments or deliver your order.
We only share the information needed for that particular purpose.
🔐 What we don’t do
We don’t sell your personal information.
We don’t sell customer lists.
We don’t use your purchase history to make assumptions about who you are.
And we certainly don’t think it’s our place to judge what you buy.
Some information relating to a person’s sex life or sexual orientation can be classed as special category data under UK data protection law, which receives additional protection.
For that reason, we take the privacy of our customers particularly seriously.
📧 Emails and messages
If you’ve contacted us, we’ll use your email address or other contact details to reply to you and deal with your enquiry.
If you choose to receive marketing from us, you can unsubscribe at any time.
We won’t use your order information as an excuse to bombard you with messages…unless you want them, lol.
🗑️ How long do we keep your information?
We’ll only keep personal information for as long as we reasonably need it.
Some information may need to be retained for longer because we’re legally required to keep business, accounting or transaction records.
When information is no longer needed, we’ll securely delete it or dispose of it appropriately.
🛡️ Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from being lost, misused or accessed by people who shouldn’t have access to it.
Access to customer information is limited to people and services that genuinely need it to operate the business.
🚨 If something goes wrong
We take your privacy seriously, but no website or online service can promise that information will never be affected by a security incident.
If we become aware of a security breach that affects your personal information, we’ll act as quickly as reasonably possible to contain it, investigate what happened and take steps to reduce the risk of it happening again.
Where we’re legally required to do so, we’ll report the breach to the relevant authorities and contact customers who may be affected, particularly where the breach could create a significant risk to their privacy or security.
We won’t hide a serious privacy incident from you.
If your information has been affected, we’ll explain what happened, what information may have been involved and what we’re doing to protect you.
Your privacy is important to us, and we believe you deserve to know if something goes wrong.
👤 Your rights
You have rights over the personal information we hold about you.
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate
- Delete information where we’re legally able to do so
- Restrict how we use your information
- Provide certain information in a portable format
- Stop certain types of processing
You can contact us if you’d like to exercise any of these rights.

⚖️ Complaints
If you aren’t happy with the way we’ve handled your personal information, please contact us first so we have the opportunity to put things right.
You also have the right to complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you’re concerned about how your personal information has been handled. The ICO recommends that privacy information is clear, easy to understand and accessible to customers.
